Therese is a native of Galway city and started to paint in 2002. She joined the Galway Art Club in 2003. Art was a great hobby for Therese which has now become her passion.
She loves painting Connemara landscapes with their ever changing mood and light, and also scenes of the old Claddagh.
Therese always uses oil paint.
She studied with the late Norena O’Connor and later with Geraldine Folan.
Therese has exhibited annually with the Galway Art Club since 2005. She has also exhibited in NUIG, the Galway City Library and the Clybaun Hotel.
Therese is greatly inspired by the work of the late Paul Henry.
