Bernice – a native Galwegian – has been painting for most of her life. She was introduced to the Galway Art Club by one of its founding members – the late artist Matt Flynn.
She attended classes in the Paint Box Studio under the guidance of Miriam Cronin. With Miriam’s encouragement she went on to attend Art College. She graduated from G.M.I.T. Galway in 2004 with a degree in Paint.
She paints primarily in oils.
Bernice has exhibited with the Galway Art Club in the Galway City Museum, Galway Tourist Office, Zetland Hotel Connemara and at the annual Galway Art Club Exhibition in St. Patrick’s School in Galway.
